What on Earth have I been up to?

Just wanted to post a few bits and bobs I've been doing over the last few weeks, so you can see what I've been doing, and so I can too.

I started my Complimentary Studies, Found Photography. We haven't received the brief as of yet, so it's been a lot of experimentation with collage, both hand made and digital. The top are some experiments where I could only use the computer and a pair of scissors, and the bottom is a hands on response to the censorship debate that has been round Plymouth College of art due to the Tart Cards exhibition.

I finally started on the Me, My Book and I project, and have generated a few pages of ideas to kick start it. Very happy with these, a nice indicator as to how my skills are developing.

As well as having to write an essay/blog for contextual studies, we had to create a poster showing what our chosen theme was. I wanted to enhance my skills with digital colouring, and I'm very happy with this outcome. I look forward to using software to colour my images in the future.

Some unfinished experiments furthering my earwigs sketchbook. The cut outs need to be painted black, and the owl image is unfinished. I intend to create an intricate paper cut from it, as well as a lino print.
Workshop experiments with creating images from type, and creating type from geometric shapes. I was realy glad to do this as recently I've really got back my interest in graphic design.

I think that's about it for the last 2 or so weeks, as well as research and writing up notes.
Enjoy.
